Lead Senior Domino Data Lab

We are looking for a skilled Lead/Senior Domino Data Lab Engineer with solid React expertise to become part of our team. Within this role, you will architect and create responsive, data-driven web applications while utilizing the Domino Data Lab platform to provide innovative solutions. You will partner with cross-functional teams to craft reusable UI components, connect APIs, and shape the overall frontend architecture of our data science applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications and reusable UI components using React
• Build and enhance data science solutions powered by the Domino Data Lab platform
• Integrate REST APIs into React applications to provide seamless user experiences
• Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to ship end-to-end web-based applications
• Develop and manage Domino Workspaces, Projects, and related web-based applications
• Ensure high-quality frontend architecture with an emphasis on scalability and reusability
• Implement modern state management approaches with React Hooks, Redux, or Context API
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to CI/CD pipelines for smooth deployments
• Perform code reviews, mentor teammates, and enforce best coding practices
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance across browsers and devices
  
  

• 5–14 years of professional software development experience
• Expertise in Domino Data Lab, including Workspaces, Projects, and web-based applications
• Proficiency in ReactJS, JavaScript, and TypeScript
• Skills in building responsive web applications and UI components with React
• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript
• Background in React Hooks, Redux, and Context API
• Competency in integrating REST APIs, working with JSON, and asynchronous programming
• Understanding of frontend architecture and reusable component design
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and Agile development methodologies
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
  
  

• Familiarity with Kubernetes and Terraform
• Background in MLflow, Jupyter, and Spark/Databricks
• Understanding of GenAI and LLM concepts
