The Product Owner is a key driver in the development and delivery of digital capabilities for Kuhne + Nagel’s Integrated Logistics services. This role is responsible for defining the product vision, managing the product backlog, and ensuring alignment between customer needs, operational goals, and technical execution. The Product Owner will be fully accountable for the success of one of the key digital products of Integrated Logistics. A team of process engineers will report into the Product Owner.

Operating within an agile, product-oriented software development organization, the Product Owner collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, scalable, and efficient digital solutions that enhance customer experience and operational excellence.

How you create impact

Product Vision & Strategy

• Define and communicate the product vision and strategy aligned with business objectives
• Develop and maintain a product roadmap based on customer feedback, market trends, and business priorities
• Ensure the product delivers maximum value to customers and stakeholders
  
  

Backlog Management

• Own and prioritize the product backlog
• Write clear, actionable user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria
• Continuously refine backlog items based on stakeholder input and team feedback
  
  

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback
• Facilitate alignment between business, operations, and development teams
• Act as the voice of the customer within the development team
  
  

Agile Team Leadership

• Lead sprint planning and participate in agile ceremonies (stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives
• Make decisions on scope and priorities during development cycles
• Ensure the team understands the product goals and delivers high-quality increments
  
  

Value Delivery & Validation

• Monitor product performance and customer satisfaction
• Validate delivered features against business requirements and KPIs
• Support UAT and ensure solutions meet operational and customer expectations
  
  

Continuous Improvement

• Promote agile principles and foster a culture of innovation and adaptability
• Analyze feedback and performance data to drive product enhancements
• Identify and remove impediments to product delivery
  
  

What we would like you to bring

• 7+ years of experience in product ownership, business analysis, or related roles within logistics, supply chain, or digital product development.
• Proven experience in product ownership within logistics, supply chain, or digital platforms.
• Strong understanding of 4PL models and customer-centric digital solutions.
• Expertise in agile methodologies and backlog management.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on value delivery and continuous improvement.
