What Youll Do

The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering robust and performant solutions for various BCG initiatives supporting the firm’s Finance function, with a focus on our ERP platform, SAP S4/Hana Public Cloud. Working in an Agile squad environment, the candidate will be a hands-on contributor for all aspects of the project delivery cycle.  As a key technical resource, you will work closely with other groups in building new functionality and partnering to turn requirements into reality. The candidate will oversee operational support as well as perform all other related tasks, such as.

What Youll Bring

• 7+ years of ABAP development experience with at least 2–3 years in S/4HANA Cloud (Public or Private Edition).
• Proficient in:
• CDS View modeling
• RAP BO lifecycle
• WRICEF object development
• Key/Developer extensibility frameworks
• SAP API and communication scenario configuration
• Job creation and monitoring in cloud
• BADI implementation
• Adobe Forms in S/4HANA
• Object-Oriented ABAP & Design Patterns
• Strong knowledge of TR management, Software Collections, and TR dependency checks.
• Proven ability to debug and optimize cloud applications with a focus on performance and maintainability.
  

Who Youll Work With

A dynamic group of cross-functional global agile team-members representing Finance, IT, and Change Management at all levels of their career. You will also support BCG users across the organization as well as BCG suppliers and business partners.

YOU’RE GOOD AT

• Developing custom solutions using S/4HANA ABAP public Cloud, following SAP’s Clean Core and Extensibility guidelines.
• Build and enhance CDS Views for data exposure, reporting, and Fiori apps.
• Design and implement business applications using the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP BO).
• Work extensively with WRICEF objects including:
• Reports
• Interfaces
• Enhancements (BADIs)
• Forms (Adobe Forms)
• Implement Key User Extensibility: custom fields, logic, and CDS views.
• Deliver Developer Extensibility solutions for complex business scenarios beyond key user tooling.
• Develop, configure and manage Job Scheduling and Application Jobs in the S/4HANA Cloud environment.
• Create and consume OData and REST APIs, and configure Communication Arrangements and Inbound/Outbound Scenarios.
• Implement enhancements using BADI Framework with upgrade-compliant techniques.
• Apply OOPs ABAP and Design Patterns to ensure modular and reusable architecture.
• Debugging in Eclipse ADT to analyze issues
• Performance tuning, and code optimization.
• Perform detailed issue analysis, impact assessment, and RCA for production and test environments.
• Lead and participate in peer code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and standards.
• Manage Transport Requests (TRs) across systems:
• Handle Software Collections, TR movement
• Analyze TR dependencies and sequence alignment
