Role Summary

A reputed industrial products distribution company at Gurgaon is looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Field Sales Executive to develop new business and manage relationships with industrial customers.

The role involves extensive field sales across Gurgaon and nearby industrial areas, meeting OEMs, manufacturing units, workshops, industrial buyers, and other B2B customers to understand their requirements and promote suitable industrial products and solutions.

The ideal candidate must have good knowledge and prior experience in industrial product sales and should be comfortable with regular field visits.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and generate new business opportunities from OEMs, manufacturing companies, industrial units, workshops, and other B2B customers.
  
• Visit prospective and existing customers regularly to understand their product requirements.
  
• Promote and sell industrial products such as abrasives, adhesives, tapes, cutting tools, fasteners, lubricants, safety products, MRO products, and other industrial solutions.
  
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with purchase managers, production teams, maintenance personnel, and other key decision-makers.
  
• Generate leads through market visits, references, networking, and existing customer relationships.
  
• Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate products.
  
• Prepare and share quotations in coordination with the internal team.
  
• Follow up on quotations, enquiries, and pending orders to convert opportunities into sales.
  
• Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute towards business growth.
  
• Maintain regular records of customer visits, enquiries, follow-ups, and sales activities.
  
• Monitor competitor activities, market trends, pricing, and customer requirements.
  
• Coordinate with the internal team regarding product availability, order processing, dispatch, and delivery.
  
• Ensure timely follow-up with customers and provide after-sales support whenever required.
  

Candidate Requirements

• Graduate in any discipline; candidates with technical qualifications will have an added advantage.
  
• Prior experience in industrial product sales / B2B sales / technical sales / field sales is preferred.
  
• Strong knowledge of industrial products and their applications is essential.
  
• Candidates from industries such as industrial tools, abrasives, adhesives, lubricants, fasteners, MRO products, safety products, engineering products, or related industrial products will be preferred.
  
• Good communication, negotiation, and customer-handling skills.
  
• Target-oriented, energetic, and self-motivated.
  
• Comfortable making regular customer visits and working extensively in the field.
  
• Basic knowledge of MS Office / Excel and sales reporting.
  
• Ability to develop new customers as well as maintain existing business relationships.
  
• Valid driving licence is mandatory.
  
• Own two-wheeler is mandatory, as the position involves regular field travel.
  
• Only candidates currently residing in Gurgaon / Gurugram will be considered.
