About this opportunity:

At Ericsson, we invite you to join us in the role of Database Administrator (DBA), where you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, securing, and optimizing database systems while ensuring high availability, performance, data integrity, backup and recovery, and supporting reliable business and application operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Database Management: Design, optimize, and troubleshoot Oracle and other databases for peak performance and reliability. Manage patches and upgrades. Enhance Ansible scripts for streamlined operations.
• Solution Development: Review solution proposals for scalable database integrations. Support development teams in crafting efficient SQL queries and validate data model updates.
• Performance Optimization: Conduct detailed performance tuning and troubleshooting. Analyze AWR and ADDM reports. Address complex technical requests from customers and internal teams.
• Scalability and Mentorship: Ensure application scalability and mentor developers. Lead proof-of-concept initiatives to explore innovative solutions.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in Oracle database setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Strong skills in performance tuning and optimization.
• Excellent SQL and data modeling skills.
• Experience with Ansible and automation tools.
• Proficiency in RMAN, expdp/impdp, Oracle RAC, Multitenancy, Data Guard, TDE, PL/SQL, and partitioning.
• Experience in FinTech or related industry is a plus.
