Consultant - Digital Strategy

As one of fastest growing practice in DAS, Infrastructure and Capital Projects Advisory (ICA) team at KGS invites like-minded professionals to help us drive progress and change. At KGS ICA practice, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team across a range of industries to assist public and private sector organizations involved in infrastructure to deliver desired outcomes, for society and businesses. We are the Centre of Excellence for KPMG’s Global practices, helping our clients to develop better understanding of the evolving policy and regulatory environment, business and commercial risks, as well as providing commercial and strategic advice on complex infrastructure and capital projects. You will work on a wide range of infrastructure sectors including transportation, digital and social infrastructure (education, healthcare), with diverse clientage a diverse range of clientele such as public sector entities, infrastructure owners, project developers, large corporates, contractors, equity investors, and financers.​

The role will be based out of KPMG’s Gurugram, Bengaluru, and Mumbai offices and liaise cross-functionally with leaders across the business to drive internal and external engagement.​

Our ICA team is a growing team of multidisciplinary specialists, with expertise in complex program delivery and associated areas. The incumbent is expected to operate in a role helping scale the business with highest customer satisfaction. ​

Diving into the key activities and expectations for this position, you will be responsible for the following:​

• Support client engagements in digital transformation initiatives across infrastructure, energy and capital projects​
• Contribute to PMIS and capital project platform implementation activities, including requirements, configuration, testing and rollout documentation​
• Support data, analytics and AI-enabled use cases such as dashboards, KPI frameworks, predictive insights and automation opportunities​
• Assist delivery of defined workstreams aligned to project plans, timelines and quality standards​
• Help document solution architecture, integration requirements, data models and interoperability considerations​
• Support development of operating models, workflows, governance processes and change/adoption materials

Qualifications

This role is for you if you have the below​

Educational qualifications ​

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Data Science, Management, Infrastructure, or related discipline​
• MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree from a reputed institution (preferred)​
• Certifications in Agile, Product Management, Data Analytics, Cloud or Digital Transformation (preferred)​
• Relevant certifications in asset/project management or PMIS platforms (preferred)​

Prior Experience​

• 4-6 years of experience in consulting, infrastructure advisory, capital projects, technology, or digital transformation roles​
• Exposure to transport, energy, utilities, infrastructure, climate or capital-intensive sectors​
• Experience supporting enterprise transformation, PMIS implementation, data/analytics or digital product delivery workstreams​
• Familiarity with capital project portfolios, project controls, schedule/cost data or reporting dashboards​
• Hands-on exposure to tools such as Primavera P6, Unifier, EcoSys, Kahua, Power BI/Tableau or any cloud data platforms​
