About the role:
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Full Stack Developer to join our Digital Platform Team (DPT). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in both frontend and backend development, with a strong grasp of modern frameworks. DPT teams are high velocity agile teams responsible for developing and maintaining components crucial to customer-facing channels, reporting & analysis. This role offers the opportunity to work on data driven, scalable, and secure applications and tools and contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle.
What you will do:
- Develop and maintain responsive user interfaces using React and Material UI (or similar frameworks).
- Build robust backend services using Spring (Java) and Node.js.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver features in an agile environment.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
- Translate designs and style guides provided by the Design team into functional user interfaces, ensuring cross browser compatibility and performance.
What you will need:
1+ years of experience developing customer facing web applications.
Must have:
- Strong understanding of JavaScript, React, and Material UI.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs creation using spring boot and node JS and integration techniques.
- Knowledge of bundler and package manager tools like webpack and maven.
- Exposure to version control systems like Git.
- Working experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred)
- Knowledge of AWS services, and usage is a plus, though not mandatory.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
- Able to work independently or within a team proactively in a fast-paced AGILE-SCRUM environment.
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong desire to improve upon their skills in software development, frameworks, and technologies.

- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science or a related field required
- Excellent communication and prioritization skills.
- Able to work independently or within a team proactively in a fast-paced AGILE-SCRUM environment.
- Owns success – Takes responsibility for successful delivery of the solutions.
- Strong desire to improve upon their skills in software development, frameworks, and technologies
