Are you an experienced Design Manager looking to be part of a global innovator in People Science and Technology?

The primary focus of this role is to direct and inspire a experienced UX/UI design team to deliver cutting-edge experience for SHL’s global Talent Acquisition platform. You will own the design strategy, guide the evolution of our products, and ensure our solutions balance user delight, scientific rigor, and business value. This is a hands-on directorship role, working closely with Product, Engineering, Science, and Commercial teams to translate involved workflows into elegant, accessible, and scalable design solutions.

What Will You Be Doing

• Lead & Inspire: Direct, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of UX/UI designers. Foster a collaborative, innovative, and user-first design culture.
• Define Strategy: Develop the UX/UI vision and roadmap for product portfolio. Establish and maintain design standards, concepts, patterns, and processes to ensure consistency, usability, and aesthetic excellence.
• Champion the User: Advocate for user-centered design through research, behavioural insights, and usage analytics.
• Deliver Impactful Designs: Oversee the end-to-end design process- research, ideation, prototyping, testing, and implementation.
• Operational Excellence: Maintain design resources, budgets and tools effectively. Embed finest practices in design operations.
  
  

Essential

What we are looking for form you:

• Extensive UI/UX design
• Significant leadership experience
• Multi-language products, WCAG accessibility user design methodologies, interaction design practices, and visual design fundamentals. Excellent Figma and familiar with front-end development regulations, design systems, and accessibility-first thinking.
  
  

Desirable

• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership.
• Nice-to-Have: Experience with AI-powered B2B Software features.
