• Strong understanding of financial statements and financial ratios
• Advanced knowledge of M&A concepts and relative valuation techniques
• Strong business writing and verbal communication skills
• Good understanding of capital markets
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office (specifically, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint)
• Command in using research databases such as Capital IQ, Mergermarket, Refinitiv, Pitchbook, among others
  
  
  

• Prepare sector-focused newsletters
• Identify potential M&A clients for business development purpose
• Structure and prepare buy-side / sell-side pitch books
• Execute valuation analysis through market approach and income approach
• Structure and prepare sections of Confidential Information Memorandums (CIMs) and Management Presentations (MPs)
• Prepare three-statement financial models for M&A transactions
• Perform financial and operational benchmarking
• Prepare conference presentations
• Assemble Virtual Data Rooms (VDR) for M&A transactions
• Bid summary analysis using qualitative metrices and financial modelling (IRR / MM)
• Prepare locked box paper and funds flow models
