Credit Manager - Secured Credit Guntur

Job Summary**

The Credit Manager - Secured Credit (Guntur) will be responsible for managing the credit portfolio for secured loans in the Guntur region, ensuring adherence to credit policies, risk assessment, and achieving portfolio quality targets.

Job Responsibilities**

* Oversee the end-to-end credit appraisal process for secured loan products, including evaluating creditworthiness, financial statements, and collateral.
* Manage and mentor a team of credit officers, providing guidance and training on credit assessment and risk management.
* Conduct thorough due diligence on loan applications, including customer profiling, site visits, and market analysis.
* Ensure compliance with internal credit policies, regulatory guidelines, and legal requirements.
* Monitor portfolio performance, identify early warning signals of delinquency, and implement appropriate corrective actions.
* Develop and implement strategies to minimize credit losses and improve portfolio quality.
* Collaborate with sales and operations teams to achieve business targets while maintaining credit quality.
* Prepare and present credit reports and analyses to senior management.
* Stay updated on market trends, economic conditions, and competitive landscape affecting the secured lending business in Guntur.

Job Qualifications**

* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CA, CFA) is a plus.
* Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in credit appraisal and risk management, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role within secured lending.
* Strong understanding of secured lending products, credit assessment methodologies, and risk mitigation techniques.
* Proven track record of managing a healthy credit portfolio and achieving credit quality targets.
