Director of Operations

We are looking for an experienced Director of Operations to lead and optimize our operational processes in Greenville, South Carolina. This role requires a strategic thinker who can oversee logistics, inventory management, and cross-departmental improvements while driving efficiency and performance. Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily operations across logistics, inventory management, and warehouse functions to ensure seamless execution.
• Develop and implement strategies for inventory control to meet the demands of major retail partners, such as Walmart and Marshalls.
• Analyze and generate reports on key metrics, including forecasting, profit and loss, labor, and inventory performance.
• Identify and execute process improvements across various departments to enhance overall efficiency.
• Collaborate with department heads to align operations with company objectives and customer expectations.
• Manage and mentor direct reports, including the Operations Manager and Logistics Manager, to foster a high-performing team.
• Monitor budgets and forecasts to ensure financial goals are met and resources are allocated effectively.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards to maintain operational excellence.
• Drive initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and streamline supply chain processes.
• Utilize software tools for data-driven decision-making and operational reporting.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, logistics, or a related field.

• Demonstrated expertise in inventory control, particularly with large (high profile) clients

• Proficiency in analyzing and reporting on forecasting, profit and loss, and labor metrics.

• Strong skills in process improvement and cross-departmental collaboration.

• Experience managing teams and mentoring direct reports to achieve organizational goals.

• Familiarity with warehouse management systems and operational software tools.

• Proven ability to manage budgets and forecasts effectively.

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on driving results.
