About The Role

As Brompton continues to grow, the need to centralise and control the indirect spend has become increasingly important, the Indirect Buyer is responsible for managing strategic sourcing and procurement activities across marketing services, professional services, and other indirect spend categories. The role focuses on driving value through supplier negotiations, cost optimization, contract management, and stakeholder collaboration while ensuring quality, compliance, and innovation from suppliers.

This position partners closely with marketing, finance, legal, and business leaders to deliver procurement strategies that support business objectives and maximize return on investment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute category strategies for marketing services and professional services spend.
  • Lead end-to-end sourcing activities, including RFPs, RFQs, supplier evaluations, and negotiations.
  • Identify cost reduction opportunities while maintaining quality and service levels.
  • Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to inform sourcing decisions.
  • Supplier Management
  • Manage relationships with key suppliers including agencies, consultancies, and service providers.
  • Monitor supplier performance through KPIs and service-level agreements (SLAs).
  • Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and value from suppliers.
  • Mitigate supply and contractual risks.
  • Contract & Commercial Management
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing structures, and commercial terms.
  • Ensure contracts comply with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Manage renewals, amendments, and contract lifecycle activities.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Partner with Marketing and business teams to understand procurement needs.
  • Act as a trusted advisor for procurement strategy and supplier selection.
  • Align procurement initiatives with business priorities and budgets.
  • Procurement Governance & Process Improvement
  • Ensure adherence to procurement policies and compliance requirements.
  • Support implementation of procurement tools and systems.
  • Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes and efficiencies.
  • Any other tasks that may be deemed necessary.

Skills

  • Proven experience sourcing marketing services and/or professional services.
  • Strong experience managing RFP processes and supplier negotiations.
  • Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders at senior levels.
  • Experience in global or multi-regional procurement environments.
  • Experience managing agency relationships and marketing procurement
