Software Tester

Job Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Software Tester to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing software products, identifying defects, and working closely with development teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse software requirements and create test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
• Perform manual testing to identify bugs, defects, and usability issues.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
• Document and track defects using bug-tracking tools.
• Collaborate with developers to understand issues and verify fixes.
• Ensure software meets quality standards and business requirements.
• Participate in review meetings and provide quality feedback.
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) activities.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
• 0–4 years of experience in software testing (freshers may apply).
• Strong understanding of software testing concepts and methodologies.
• Experience in manual testing and test case creation.
• Familiarity with SDLC and STLC.
• Basic knowledge of databases and SQL is a plus.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
  
  

• Experience with automation testing tools (Selenium, Cypress, TestNG).
• Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum environments.
• ISTQB or other testing certifications.
