Overview

Manages the Manufacturing Production & Planning functions to ensure proper supply & demand balancing, required to achieve monthly and annual business plan objectives. Coordinate the departments in the product processing as well as provide and adjust planning for delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Provides assistance and/or training to Planning and Scheduling personnel in all manufacturing facilities to establish consistent processes and procedures around Manufacturing capacity planning.
• Manage a team that ensures long range planning and short-term scheduling activities are in supporting the long term and short-term goals of the business plan.
• Sets policies and establishes control procedures for the scheduling the activities in Manufacturing to achieve the delivery schedule
• Develops and adjusts production plans and notifies the Inside Sales department of any changes/delays to standard lead times.
• Coordinates closely with S&OP teams to ensure Manufacturing capacity alignment with market needs
• Works closely with Sales, Manufacturing, and Inventory Management to ensure execution to plan.
• Identifies and recommends solutions for potential capacity constraints
• Provides management with requested reports & daily statistics and makes recommendations to facilitate sound and effective decision making.
• Oversee the development and coordination of the master production schedule (MPS).
• Develops and maintains all necessary process controls needed to for all planning and scheduling functions.
• Manages the Manufacturing alignment and strategies for all cellular manufacturing
• Develops and supervises the resource needs required to achieve the Manufacturing and Supply Chain objectives.
• Selects, evaluates, motivates and develops employees to ensure a qualified workforce for company objectives.
• Develops a positive team dynamic to ensure high performance.
• Leads the continuous improvement process in his / her team.
• Maintains and communicates Standard delivery commitments to all relevant parties.
• Develops and adjusts production plans and notifies the Inside Sales department of any changes/delays.
• Provides assistance to the Inside Sales Representatives to establish sales order delivery promise,
• Communicates with the other departments such as Manufacturing and Warehouse with regard to material and capacity, identifies, negotiates and resolves conflicts in material and capacity availability to ensure order promising integrity.
• System Maintenance (5%)
• Oversees Input to the Manufacturing MRP system to ensure consistency and process/procedure alignment,
• Ensures maintenance and review of all MRP drivers, in accordance with S&OP strategies.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in business, industrial engineering, or operational management or an associate's degree, combined with min 5 years’ experience in a planning or fulfillment role utilizing ERP,
• Minimum of 3 years in a leadership role,
  
  

• Good interpersonal and communication skills,
• Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office and AX),
• Good organization skills, initiative taker and multitasking,
