Your Role And Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to purchase materials according to required technical specifications, price, delivery schedule, and terms. Each day, you will ensure purchasing activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying new suppliers in cooperation with the relevant category team.

The work model for the role is:

This role is contributing to the Electrification business in Distribution Solution division at Nashik, India.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Monitor vendor delivery speed, quality compliance, and reliability, resolving disputes when needed.
• Coordinate with logistics and expeditors to ensure timely delivery of materials according to project schedules.
• Execute purchases of specialized MV components (VCBs, CT/VT, meters/relays) and LV components.
• Analyze project-specific BOMs to ensure all materials are ordered as per technical specifications in purchase orders.
• Negotiate lead times and delivery terms with suppliers.
• Manage material handling, classification, and inventory, with hands-on digitalization practices.
• Align procurement with monthly manufacturing plans while applying knowledge of switchgear panel and LV compartment costing.

Qualifications For The Role

• Degree in Electrical engineering (should be full-time)
• You have 6 to 10 years of experience in supplier performance management (delivery, quality, reliability), supplier OTD, purchasing of VCB, CT, VT, relays, and LV components.
• Strong understanding of BOM analysis, procurement planning, negotiation of lead times, inventory management, and costing of switchgear panels/LV compartments.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP), Microsoft Office, and ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Demonstrated expertise in negotiation, analytical thinking, cross-functional communication, and problem-solving.
