The Specialist in this position will be accountable for vulnerability management governance and processes (Linde tool WIZ UVM and Kenna) and regular execution and governance of phishing simulations (Linde tool Cofense)

Making an impact. What will you do?

• The Specialist will improve IT Security and protect information assets throughout Linde via the following actions.
• You will support Vulnerability Management process and tools, and you will be the expert user and single point of contact for regional and corporate stakeholders.
• Coordinate actions across IT teams to ensure targeted improvements are realised.
• The responsible person will identify and/or manage areas of weakness (e.g. vulnerabilities) that create a security threat for the Group and to work effectively, with other IT teams, quantify the risk and identify mitigating actions and responsible persons. Be able to influence and technically guide stakeholders to achieve this objective.
• Working with technical teams to understand complex issues and then identify how security weaknesses can be reduced or mitigated.
• Facilitate management and tagging of Assets according to CMDB, including Crown Jewels and CAT1 P1 assets and maintain documentation and Vulnerability Scanning scope schedule accordingly – interact with Infra- and App-owners to discuss vulnerabilities and the timeliness of remediations.
• You will manage exceptions to Vulnerability Scan findings, confirming any residual risk and identifying compensating controls as required.
• Evolve the vulnerability tool based on technical capabilities and improve processes
• Suggesting and aligning phishing simulation scenarios. Execute them in collaboration with vendor and make sure, that reporting is provided. Analyse results and provide and summary to senior managers
• Also, working effectively as a member of the IT Security Risk & Strategy Team and be recognised by the wider IT community as providing useful and expert skills.
  
  

Winning in your role. Do you have what it takes?

• You must have a degree or equivalent from a reputed institute
• You must be able to interact with different cultures
• Experience in working effectively in offshore/ globally dispersed teams
• Knowledge of Vulnerability scanning and Infrastructure Penetration Testing
• You must have technical security experience and preferably professional Security Certification
• Also, you should have overall 8 years of IT experience, including some in a relevant field with reputable companies
