Job Description :

Abha Surgy Healthcare Private Limited (ASHPL), is urgently looking for a dedicated and experienced Doctor’s Assistant to support our medical team. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in a similar role within a healthcare setting, with excellent communication skills in English, Bengali, and Hindi. As a Doctor’s Assistant, you will play a key role in patient management, documentation, and assisting the doctor with various tasks to ensure smooth operations in the clinic.

Key Responsibilities

Attending Patient Queries:

Respond to patient queries and provide information related to medical procedures, appointments, and treatment plans.

Documentation Of Medical History

Record and update patients past medical history accurately for reference during consultations.

Patient Counselling

Provide medical and financial counselling to patients regarding various medical procedures, ensuring they are well-informed and comfortable.

Preparing Patient Files

Collect and arrange reports and other related medical documents for the doctor. Prepare patient files before consultations to ensure all necessary information is available.

Explaining Treatment And Medications

Explain the prescribed treatment and medications to patients, ensuring they understand the course of action as per the doctor’s instructions.

Maintaining Medical Records

Scan and upload prescriptions and other medical documents to maintain up-to-date and accurate patient records.

Assisting Doctors With Tasks

Assist doctors with various tasks as assigned, ensuring the smooth execution of the daily operations in the clinic.

Qualifications

• Graduation, B.Sc preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience in healthcare, preferably in a clinic or hospital setting.
• Previous experience in a similar Doctor’s Assistant role is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills in English, Bengali, and Hindi.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Empathetic and patient-focused attitude with a strong ability to assist and counsel patients.
