Assistant Department Manager

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise employees and help carry out order Pick-Pack and Delivery Operations while ensuring that the Last mile vehicle route is properly planned for the night shift.
• He/she is responsible for proper upkeep and maintenance of all business assets at the store during the night shift.
• Monitor and validate last-mile routing plans for night-shift dispatches, ensuring optimal route allocation and timely vehicle movement.
• Ensure effective supervision of night-shift staff, providing on-ground support to maintain productivity, adherence to SOPs, and operational discipline.
• Conduct periodic checks to ensure infrastructure readiness, including material handling equipment, storage areas, and dispatch zones, to avoid disruptions.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams when required to resolve operational bottlenecks and ensure smooth end-to-end night-shift functioning.
• Ensure that articles which are marked "Not Found" are searchable to supervisor/floor staff.
• Manage packing operations across all stations.
