About Quallege
Quallege is an international student recruitment platform that partners with leading U.S. universities to drive enrollment from global markets. We operate at the intersection of higher education and international marketing — working on behalf of our university partners to attract, engage, and convert students across key regions
Our work serves three primary audiences: recruitment partners (the agents and agencies on the ground in each market), prospective students (the end audience our campaigns are ultimately designed to reach), and university partners (the institutions we represent, who are active stakeholders in approvals and brand standards). Understanding how to communicate effectively and appropriately for each audience is central to every role on our team.
We are a global company with a local mindset. Some of our communications are market-specific — tailored in tone, cultural context, or language for a particular region — while others follow a global approach applied consistently across all markets. The ability to navigate both is key.
Because we produce content on behalf of universities, our work must adhere to each institutions brand guidelines and is often subject to university approval workflows.
Role Summary
We are looking for a skilled and versatile Copywriter to join Quallege’s growing marketing team. This role goes beyond digital copy — you will be the voice behind our campaigns, partner communications, event experiences, and thought leadership. You will produce content that speaks to recruitment partners, prospective students, and university stakeholders across diverse international markets.
The ideal candidate understands both the nuance of writing for global audiences and the discipline of writing for results. You are equally comfortable crafting a punchy social caption and scripting a 45-minute webinar — and you know the difference between the two.
Key Responsibilities
Digital & Campaign Content
- Develop compelling copy for social media, SEO, and content marketing, maintaining consistent tone, style, and voice across all channels.
- Produce blog posts, articles, and thought leadership pieces in collaboration with internal subject-matter experts.
- Conduct regular content audits and implement SEO optimizations, offering data-informed recommendations for improvement.
- Maintain and contribute to a content calendar aligned with Quallege’s marketing strategy and key global cultural moments.
- Conduct keyword research using SEO tools to identify high-value search terms across target markets, and translate findings into optimized content briefs and copy for landing pages, blogs, and campaign assets.
Events, Webinars & Presentations
- Write and edit scripts for webinars and live events and recruitment partner and students-facing sessions.
- Develop speaker briefing guides that prepare presenters with messaging, talking points, and audience context.
- Craft presentation narratives and slide copy for internal and external decks, ensuring clarity, flow, and brand alignment.
PR & Thought Leadership
- Draft, revise, and proofread press releases, storytelling pieces, and PR materials that elevate Quallege’s visibility and voice.
- Support the development of executive communications and brand narratives for external audiences.
University and Recruitment Partner & Stakeholder Communications
- Produce persuasive, on-brand copy for partner onboarding communications, incentive program materials, and university-specific assets.
- Assist in managing copy for collaborative efforts with university and recruitment partners, ensuring clarity and effectiveness.
Team Collaboration & Standards
- Participate in brainstorming sessions with the creative and Quallege team to generate fresh ideas for content and campaigns.
- Maintain high quality control standards, ensuring all copy aligns with brand guidelines and is free of errors.
- Apply AI tools strategically to accelerate the writing process without compromising creative quality or authenticity.
- Ensure all content reflects diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) principles, with cultural sensitivity toward international audiences.
- Stay current on trends in copywriting, content strategy, and AI — sharing insights and applying best practices to daily work.
