Job Overview

LPL Financial Corp is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, implement, and maintain solutions on the ServiceNow platform, ensuring alignment with business needs and technical best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex ServiceNow solutions, including ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, SecOps, and GRC
• Configure and customize ServiceNow modules, workflows, forms, scripts (Client Scripts, Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Script Includes), and integrations using various APIs (REST, SOAP).
• Perform advanced administration tasks, including user and group management, access control, and platform security.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and propose effective ServiceNow solutions.
• Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance to junior developers, and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and release notes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to ServiceNow instances, integrations, and customizations.
• Participate in platform upgrades, patching, and performance optimization activities.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest ServiceNow features, releases, and industry trends to recommend continuous improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer, with a strong focus on platform development and customization.
• Proven expertise in ServiceNow modules
• Extensive experience with JavaScript, GlideScript, Jelly, HTML, CSS, and AngularJS.
• Strong understanding of web services integrations (REST, SOAP) and experience with various integration methods.
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) and/or Certified System Administrator (CSA) required.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with financial services industry experience is a plus.
