This role requires working from our local Hyderabad office 2-3x a week.
INTRODUCTION:
As the first Senior People Partner (HRBP) in ABC’s growing Hyderabad office, you’ll take on a key role with both regional impact and global reach. You’ll partner closely with senior leaders in Engineering, IT, and other Hyderabad-based functions, through collaboration with our global People Partner team, to align people strategies with business priorities.
In this high-impact role, you’ll serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, driving initiatives in organizational effectiveness, talent strategy, and change management. Your expertise in organizational design, workforce planning, and talent optimization will be critical as we scale rapidly (both in India and globally) and work to attract, develop and retain top talent in a highly competitive market.
You’ll also work cross-functionally with our Centers of Excellence (CoEs), Head of HR – India, Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition and General Manager, India to deliver globally integrated people strategies that support employee experience and business success across ABC.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Strategic Partnership
- Partner with senior leaders to align people strategy with business goals, ensuring scalable and sustainable growth.
- Act as a thought partner to leadership, offering insights and recommendations on talent strategy, workforce planning, and organizational design.
Organizational Effectiveness
- Assess and design efficient, scalable organizational structures to support evolving business needs.
- Lead initiatives to improve operating models, processes, and ways of working to drive productivity and agility.
Talent Planning & Development
- Develop and implement talent strategies to build high performing, engaged teams, ensuring the right people are in the right roles at the right time.
- Guide leaders on succession planning, leadership development, and key talent retention.
Change Management
- Lead and support change management efforts, supporting organizational transformation.
- Serve as a change champion, equipping leaders with tools and strategies to manage change effectively.
Data-Driven Insights
- Leverage data and analytics to influence decisions related to workforce planning, and talent management strategies.
Culture & Engagement
- Foster a high-performance, values-aligned culture grounded in engagement, inclusion and results.
- Champion ABC’s values, ensuring they are embedded in leadership behaviors, talent strategies, and people programs.
Collaboration & Alignment
- Partner with other People Partners and Centers of Excellence (CoEs) to share best practices, drive process improvements and develop people practices increasing alignment and consistency
- Provide cross-functional support and serve as a backup when needed to ensure seamless People Partner coverage
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- 12+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 7 years as a senior human resources business partner or in a strategic HR role.
- Experience working in a US-based SaaS or technology company, with an understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in the Hyderabad talent market.
- Proven expertise in organizational design, workforce planning, and talent strategy.
- Strong change management experience, with the ability to influence and drive transformation.
- Demonstrated ability to partner with senior leadership to shape business outcomes.
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills and the ability to translate insights into action.
- Exceptional communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to translate data into actionable insights.
- Employee experience mind-set, considering the user experience in all communication, programs and processes.
- All applicants must be able to work from our Hyderabad office 2-3x a week
AND IT’S GREAT TO HAVE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Experience in a fast-paced, private equity-backed or high-growth company is strongly preferred.
