As a Senior Associate – RIC (Financial Data Analytics & Automation), you will play a pivotal role in providing advice and guidance to clients on tax planning, compliance, and strategy. Within our Tax practice, you will focus on validating clients' compliance with tax laws and regulations, reviewing and analyzing financial data, preparing and filing tax returns, and assisting businesses in meeting their tax obligations while minimizing risks of non-compliance.

In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will leverage a broad range of tools, methodologies, and techniques to generate new ideas and solve problems. You will develop a deeper understanding of the business context and how it is changing, using critical thinking to break down complex concepts and interpret data to inform insights and recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, transform, and validate large financial and tax datasets to support business and compliance requirements.
• Develop and maintain data transformation and ETL workflows using Alteryx, Power Query, and other automation tools.
• Design and build interactive dashboards and visualizations using Power BI and/or Tableau.
• Develop automation solutions using Excel VBA, Power Platform, and other digital tools to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Partner with tax and finance professionals to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
• Extract, clean, and manipulate data from various sources, including databases and enterprise systems.
• Support data-driven decision-making through insightful reporting and analytics.
• Research and evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and applications to drive innovation within the business.
• Present analytical findings, recommendations, and automation solutions to stakeholders and project teams.
• Ensure adherence to PwC quality standards, governance requirements, and professional conduct expectations.
• Collaborate effectively across global teams to deliver high-quality client outcomes.
  
  

What You Must Have

• At least a Bachelor's degree in the following field of study: Accounting or Master's in Commerce
• At least 3 years of experience
• Oral and written proficiency in English required
  
  

What Sets You Apart

• Technical Skills
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VBA and Power Query.
• Experience developing ETL and data transformation solutions using Alteryx.
• Strong experience building dashboards and visualizations using Power BI and/or Tableau.
• Ability to transform complex datasets into meaningful business insights and recommendations.
• Understanding of data modeling, data quality, and reporting best practices.
• Preferred Skills
• Experience with Python for analytics and automation.
