Job Overview

COMPETENCY OVERVIEW:

  • Prepare management reporting and provide timely, accurate and insightful analysis.
  • Prepare and submit accounting journal entries for smooth period close.
  • Provide support in developing, coordinating, and reporting budgets and forecasts. Run an annual budgets and forecasts, including the roll-out of regular reforecasting cycles and processes.
  • Provide support in managing financial aspects of special projects by determining key drivers, driving the right set of analyses and presenting the conclusions, monthly reporting and variance analysis.
  • Provide controllership support while playing an important role in identifying and solving complex data integrity issues.
  • Maintenance of monthly processes to ensure seamless workflows; daily/weekly reviews, oversight and communication of work package creation and changes.
  • Provide support in preparing budgets and periodic forecasts, Profit, and loss (income statement), Balance Sheet, Cash-Flow Statement etc.
  • Ensure smooth implementation of – and adherence to – new finance requirements, systems, and processes
  • Prepare ad-hoc management financial reports as required.
  • Developing efficiencies and process improvements within the team’s work streams.

Position Requirements

Knowledge Preferred:

  • FP&A experience gained within established businesses, ideally within the Service Industry or Big 4’s.
  • Strong knowledge of planning and performance processes, including annual budget, monthly forecast and monthly results analysis.
  • Strong working knowledge of accounting, controlling and finance operations.
  • Experience in SAP S4 Hana, preferred experience in OneStream
  • Team orientated, a “can do” attitude and flexible approach.
  • Enthusiasm for solving problems and working collaboratively.
  • Independent/Self-starter with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Skills Preferred

  • Excel/OneStream/SAP S4 Hana

Educational Background

  • Degree in accounting, business, finance or related field strongly preferred
  • B. Com/BBA/MBA/M. Com/CA (Inter)/CA/ICWA (Inter)/ICWA qualified or equivalent
