Position Summary

The Project Manager – Tech and data enablement is a project and program management leadership role responsible for the end‑to‑end delivery of initiatives across Finance operations platforms i.e. ongoing operations across Oracle ERP/EPM, finance data store, data lake and other inhouse applications supported by the team.

This role is accountable for planning, execution, governance, and stakeholder communication across complex, cross‑functional tech enabled, data heavy role. The Delivery Manager ensures activities are delivered on time, within scope, and with high quality, while maintaining strong alignment between Finance, Accounting, Technology, and external partners.

This is not a functional accounting role; rather, it is a delivery role requiring strong project management discipline, deep experience managing operational/support programs, and the ability to communicate effectively with senior business and technology leaders.

Role Scope: Finance Operations, technology and production support

The Project Delivery Manager will lead delivery across initiatives involving:

• Implementations, enhancements, and transformations
• Applications for Finance Operations, Financial reporting and planning, etc.
• Integrations with upstream source systems, and downstream reporting platforms
• Finance reporting, controls, and audit‑sensitive processes
  
  

The role ensures coordinated delivery across multiple workstreams, recognizing that finance system has complex landscape and changes have enterprise‑wide financial, operational, and control impacts.

Key Responsibilities

Project & Program Management Leadership

• Lead end‑to‑end project management for finance initiatives as needed, from initiation through Hypercare
• Develop integrated project plans, schedules, and milestones across multiple Finance and Technology workstreams
• Drive disciplined execution using established project management and governance frameworks
  
  

Delivery Oversight

• Manage delivery activities without acting as a system configurator
• Ensure activities adequately address: Cross‑system integration and data flow considerations
• Surface delivery risks and interdependencies early and present clear mitigation strategies
  
  

Jira‑Led Delivery Management (Critical Skill)

• Utilize Jira as the primary project and program management tool, ensuring:
• Accurate tracking of epics, stories, tasks, dependencies, and risks
• Clear visibility into delivery status, blockers, and progress
• Consistent reporting across teams and initiatives
• Establish Jira standards and expectations across delivery teams to promote transparency and accountability
• Leverage Jira dashboards and reporting to support leadership decision‑making
  

Governance, Risk, and Quality Management

• Execute formal delivery governance including RAID management, scope control, and status reporting
• Oversee planning and coordination of testing cycles
• Ensure testing includes end‑to‑end Finance scenarios, close cycles, and business validation
• Support Hypercare and post‑implementation stabilization efforts for Finance‑critical systems
  
  

Stakeholder Communication & Executive Enablement

• Serve as the primary delivery point of contact for Finance, Accounting, Technology, and leadership stakeholders
• Translate complex delivery topics into clear, executive‑ready narratives
• Prepare and deliver concise status updates, risk assessments, and decision decks for senior leadership
• Proactively manage expectations and drive alignment across a highly matrixed organization
  
  

People Leadership & Team Development

• Foster a delivery culture focused on accountability, quality, and continuous improvement
• Mentor junior resources in Jira usage, stakeholder management, and delivery best practices
  
  

Required Skills & Competencies

Core Project Management Capabilities

• Strong project and program management expertise across large‑scale initiatives
• Proven ability to manage complex dependencies, risks, and timelines
• Comfort operating in ambiguity while maintaining delivery discipline
  
  

Tools & Methods

• Advanced Jira usage for project and program management (required)
• Experience with Agile and hybrid delivery models
• Strong documentation and reporting discipline using enterprise tools
  
  

Communication & Executive Presence

• Strong verbal communication and presentation skills
• Demonstrated ability to present to senior leaders with clarity and confidence
• Ability to synthesize complex delivery information into executive‑level insights and recommendations
  
  

Experience Required

• 11–13 years of progressive experience in project / program management, preferably within Finance and Accounting domains
• Demonstrated experience delivering programs in enterprise environments
• Prior experience leading global programs from project management standpoint
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field preferred
