Business Analyst Product-focused

Role overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive business analyst with hands-on exposure to product management. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions while contributing to product strategy, roadmap planning, and feature delivery.

Key responsibilities

Business analysis

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into clear functional and technical specifications.
• Create BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and use cases.
• Conduct gap analysis and propose process improvements.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure accurate implementation.
  
  

Product management support

• Assist in defining product vision, roadmap, and feature prioritization.
• Work closely with product managers to refine features and backlogs.
• Participate in sprint planning, grooming, and retrospectives (Agile/Scrum).
• Analyze product performance metrics and suggest improvements.
• Conduct competitor analysis and market research.
  
  

Stakeholder & communication

• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, design, and development teams.
• Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations.
• Ensure alignment on product requirements and delivery timelines.
  
  

Data analysis & reporting

• Interpret data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
• Create dashboards/reports using tools like Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Support decision making with insights and recommendations.
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience as a business analyst.
• Understanding of product management concepts.
• Aviation domain knowledge.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong documentation skills.
• Basic knowledge of SQL/Excel or data analysis tools.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools.
  
  

Education

B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering, followed by an MBA

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to end-to-end product lifecycle.
• Experience in tech/product-driven environments.
• Knowledge of UX/UI principles.
• Familiarity with API concepts or integrations.
