Ansible Automation Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Ansible Automation Engineerwith 5–8 years of hands-on experience in infrastructure automation and configuration management. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, and automation frameworks to support scalable, reliable, and secure IT environments. This role requires strong collaboration with DevOps, Cloud, and Operations teams to streamline provisioning, deployment, and compliance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in infrastructure automation or DevOps roles
• Strong hands-on expertise with Ansible
• Proficient in YAML and Ansible role design
• Strong experience with Linux system administration
• Experience with Git and version-controlled automation code
• Working knowledge of shell scripting (Bash) and/or Python
• Experience integrating Ansible with CI/CD tools
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP) and automation
• Understanding of networking concepts (DNS, load balancers, firewalls)
• Experience with configuration management and orchestration best practices
  
  

• Experience with Ansible Tower / AWX
• Knowledge of Terraform or other IaC tools
• Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with security automation and compliance
• ITIL or DevOps certifications
• Red Hat Ansible Automation experience
