Job Description
Position Title: Adobe Marketo Specialist

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and energetic Adobe Marketer Professional to join our growing digital marketing team. This permanent role requires a technically proficient marketing automation expert with 5-6 years of hands-on experience in Adobe Marketing Cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will be passionate about implementing innovative marketing solutions, optimizing customer journeys, and driving measurable business results through strategic campaign execution.
Key Responsibilities
Adobe Marketing Platform Management
- Design, configure, and deploy sophisticated marketing campaigns, workflows, and engagement programs within Adobe Marketo Engage
- Build and optimize smart campaigns, segmentation strategies, and personalization rules to enhance customer engagement and conversion rates
- Implement A/B testing frameworks and multivariate testing to continuously improve campaign performance
- Troubleshoot campaign logic, lead scoring models, and data flow issues with technical precision-
- Stay current with Adobe platform updates and identify opportunities to adopt new features for competitive advantage
- Develop creative campaign strategies that leverage personalization, dynamic content, and behavioural triggers
- Analyse campaign performance metrics and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement
Lead Management & Nurturing
- Develop and execute comprehensive lead management strategies including lead scoring, routing, and lifecycle management
- Design and optimize lead nurturing programs across multiple channels to move prospects through the marketing funnel
- Create sophisticated lead funnelling strategies that align with sales objectives and revenue goals
- Monitor lead quality metrics and implement data-driven improvements to conversion rates
Marketing Automation & Integration
- Implement and maintain integrations between Adobe Marketo and critical platforms including SiteCore XM Cloud , Salesforce CRM, LinkedIn, and other marketing technology solutions
- Ensure seamless data synchronization and system interoperability across the marketing tech stack
- Monitor API connections, resolve sync failures, and troubleshoot integration bottlenecks proactively
- Collaborate with IT teams to design scalable integration architectures
Technical Documentation & Support
- Create comprehensive documentation for campaign workflows, system configurations, and best practices
- Serve as the subject matter expert for Adobe Marketo within the organization
- Provide training and support to marketing team members and stakeholders
- Escalate complex technical issues to Adobe support or internal engineering teams when necessary
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with marketing, sales, IT, and analytics teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Participate in strategic planning sessions to align marketing automation initiatives with business objectives
- Collaborate with content teams to ensure seamless execution of multi-channel campaigns
- Contribute to sprint planning, backlog grooming, and agile project management processes
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelors degree in marketing, Information Technology, Computer Science, Marketing Technology, or related field
Experience
- 5-6 years of hands-on experience with Adobe Marketo Engage, including campaign execution and platform administration
- Proven track record in lead management, lead nurturing, and marketing funnel optimization
- Demonstrated experience integrating Adobe Marketo with AEM/SiteCore XM Cloud, Salesforce, LinkedIn, and other marketing platforms
- Strong background in digital marketing with understanding of multi-channel campaign strategies
Technical Skills
- Deep expertise in Adobe Marketing Cloud solutions, particularly Marketo Engage
- Strong understanding of marketing automation workflows, APIs, and data architecture
- Proficiency in HTML/CSS for email template customization (preferred)
- Experience with CRM platforms, particularly Salesforce
- Knowledge of data management, segmentation, and targeting strategies
- Familiarity with marketing analytics and reporting tools
Preferred Qualifications (Good-to-Have)
- Adobe Marketo Certified Expert or Adobe Marketo Certified Professional certification
- Demonstrated proclivity for designing innovative marketing automation solutions and implementing creative campaign approaches
- Strong passion for staying current with digital marketing trends, technologies, and best practices
- Experience with additional Adobe Experience Cloud products (Analytics, Target, Campaign)
- Background in B2B or B2C electronics/technology marketing
- Familiarity with marketing attribution models and ROI analysis
