The Lead Architect leads and manages a design team to deliver high-quality architectural designs and solutions, collaborating with their superior heads to understand their requirements and preferences. This role involves mentoring and guiding team members, Architects and drafts man in developing the design at macro level. The Lead Architect ensures designs meet with the contract, client requirement & Principal Architect design ideology.
Develop innovative and functional design solutions that meet client needs and project objectives.
Lead the design process for architectural projects, including concept development, schematic design, design development, and construction documentation.
Ensure that designs comply with building codes, zoning laws, and other regulatory requirements.
Incorporating sustainable practices and materials into designs to minimize environmental impact and promote energy efficiency.
Staying abreast of evolving architectural trends, technologies, and ecological concerns to continuously innovate and adapt to the changing demands of society.
Client consultation
Collaborate with clients to understand their goals, preferences, and requirements.
Address client feedback, EDRC head, section head inputs and incorporate changes into the design as needed.
Leadership and Team Development
Ability to handle team of Architects and Cad Architects.
Foster a collaborative and creative work environment. Delegate tasks effectively and manage workload distribution within the team.
Oversee the production of architectural drawings, renderings, and presentations.
Manage, mentor, develop a diverse team, including direct, indirect, and contract employees, fostering a high-performance culture.
Encourage regular internal meetings, professional development and continuous learning among team members.
Project Management Skills
Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans. Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, from inception to completion.
Coordination with construction teams and managing any design changes that arise during the building phase.
Ensure the project completion as per schedule with an agreed quality and quantities.

supporting business units in developing future projects and strategies
Site Team
Coordinate with site teams for construction design deliverables and supports.
Conduct regular meeting with site team for progress review.
Visit construction sites to observe progress, identify any discrepancies, and provide necessary design changes and solutions for completion of work.
Procurement
Assist procurement team with technical specifications and details for finalizing finishing items.
Auditors
Facilitate audits to ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory standards, and project-specific protocols.
External Stakeholder
Purpose of Interaction
Client
Collaborate with clients to understand their goals, preferences, and requirements.
Address client feedback and incorporate changes into the design as needed
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
Conduct client meetings, presentations, and design reviews.
Consultant
Work closely with other professionals, such as structural engineers, landscape architects, interior designers and MEP, to ensure that the design is feasible and integrates well with other aspects of the project.
Review and provide compliances to their deliverables.
Regulatory Compliance
Ensure that the design adheres to local building codes, zoning laws, and environmental regulations
Deep understanding of legal requirements and the ability to navigate complex bureaucratic processes.
Vendors
Assist vendor for preparation and approval of shop drawings.
Interact with multiple vendors for finalization of right product as per project requirement and specifications.
