Junior BIM Specialist

Key Skills & ResponsibilitiesBIM Processes & Standards

• Ensure compliance with ISO 19650, BIM Execution Plan (BEP), and project-specific BIM standards.
• Validate models for LOD requirements, IFC compliance, and data consistency.
• Perform model quality checks and maintain BIM integrity throughout the project lifecycle.
• Implement and enforce BIM standards, workflows, and best practices.
• Strong understanding of BIM coordination, clash detection, federation strategy, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Support 4D (Scheduling) and 5D (Cost Estimation) BIM integration.
  
  

• Proficient in Navisworks Manage, Bexel Manager, Revit, Civil 3D, and Tekla.
• Experience in developing BIM models and preparing drawings across various project stages.
• Expertise in model optimization, template customization, and parametric design.
• Knowledge of scripting and automation tools such as Dynamo and Python.
• Familiarity with Power BI, BIM data analysis, GIS, ERP, and Digital Twin integration.
• Manage version control, documentation, and Common Data Environments (CDE) such as ProjectWise and BIM 360.
  
  

• Lead BIM coordination activities and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Conduct and facilitate coordination meetings, clash reviews, and issue resolution sessions.
• Prepare clash reports, coordination logs, and technical recommendations.
• Act as a liaison between architects, engineers, contractors, and project stakeholders.
• Train and mentor junior BIM professionals on tools, standards, and best practices.
• Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
  
  

• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ensure adherence to Quality, HSE, and Business Management System (BMS) requirements.
