About The Role
Fuller Technologies is seeking a dynamic and results-driven leader to join our USA Manufacturing team. This role is responsible for leading procurement and supply chain operations across purchasing, sourcing, logistics, expediting, and supplier quality to ensure uninterrupted supply supporting manufacturing operations and project execution. The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving operational performance, cost efficiency, supplier partnerships, and continuous improvement.
Based out of Chennai, this position will oversee and support both the US and India manufacturing teams, ensuring strong cross-regional coordination and operational alignment.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the team responsible for requisitions, sourcing, expediting, logistics, and quality/expediting activities to ensure uninterrupted supply supporting manufacturing operations and project execution.
- Oversee the timely and accurate creation of purchase requisitions, supplier selection, and purchase order execution, ensuring procurement activities meet business requirements for cost, quality, delivery, and risk minimization.
- Engage with business unit leadership on both strategic and tactical procurement matters to ensure proper alignment, prioritization, and timely involvement.
- Manage, coach, and develop the procurement organization across Purchasing, Logistics, and Quality/Expediting to build a high-performing and capable team.
- Lead sourcing initiatives for manufacturing materials, components, and services, including supplier identification, negotiations, cost optimization, and supplier performance management.
- Ensure proactive expediting of orders to meet production schedules and customer commitments, quickly resolving delays and mitigating supply risks.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, transportation planning, and delivery schedules to support operational efficiency and on-time performance.
- Act as the primary escalation point for supply, supplier, or logistics issues impacting operations, driving rapid resolution and business continuity.
- Drive efficiency through resource optimization, process improvements, best practice implementation, and alignment with global procurement initiatives.
- Lead implementation and compliance with procurement policies, procedures, governance standards, and KPI reporting in alignment with corporate and group directives.
- Ensure realization of cost savings through compliance with global category strategies and local sourcing initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with manufacturing, engineering, finance, warehouse, Production, planning and project teams to align priorities, execution timelines, and operational requirements.
- Monitor and report KPIs (on-time delivery, cost savings, lead times, inventory performance, supplier performance) and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
- Promote and maintain a strong culture of safety for employees and all stakeholders impacted by operational activities.
What You Bring
- Deep understanding of supply chain management, manufacturing demand, global procurement markets, and Fuller pneumatic transport products and parts.
- Strong leadership and change management capability with proven experience building and developing high-performing teams.
- Valid U.S. visa and ability to operate effectively within U.S. business and regulatory environments.
- Extensive experience supporting U.S. Minimum of 10 years’ experience working with U.S. cement operations, including both projects and aftermarket parts.
- Advanced knowledge of cement and heavy industrial equipment, including pneumatic transport (PT), OK Mills, kilns, pyro processing systems, Pfister feeders, Vento systems, and automation solutions.
- Minimum of 10 years’ global leadership experience within procurement, supply chain, or manufacturing environments.
- Proven exposure to and management of global supplier networks across multiple regions.
- Strong strategic sourcing, vendor development, cost optimization, and advanced negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated ability in decision-making, problem-solving, and executive stakeholder engagement.
- Excellent supplier relationship management and cross-functional collaboration capability.
- Experience with ERP/MRP platforms such as D365, Oracle, SAP, EPICOR, ATLAS, or similar systems.
- Advanced Microsoft Office and reporting tool proficiency.
- Experience procuring, shipping and sourcing complex manufacturing components and heavy industrial equipment (Cement Industry)
- Proven success delivering cost savings, supplier performance improvements, and supply risk mitigation.
- Experience collaborating with proposal, sales, engineering, and project teams to support business growth and contract execution.
- Leading teams in multiple countries
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field required.
- MBA or advanced degree preferred.
