Job Description

Prepare and develop HVAC system designs including air-conditioning, ventilation, and chilled water systems for commercial, industrial, and metro rail projects.
Perform heat load calculations, system selection, and equipment sizing in line with project requirements.
Design and size ducting, piping, grilles, diffusers, louvers, dampers, valves, and fittings.
Develop concept, preliminary, and detailed design drawings, including layouts, schematics, single-line diagrams, and P&IDs.
Coordinate with BIM/modeling teams to ensure accurate implementation of design intent in Revit models and drawings.
Ensure designs comply with relevant standards and codes such as ASHRAE, ISHRAE, NBC, SMACNA, NFPA, and project-specific guidelines.
Support interdisciplinary coordination with architectural, electrical, plumbing, fire, and civil teams.
Review and respond to design comments, RFIs, and technical queries from internal teams, clients, and contractors.
Assist in clash resolution and design optimization during coordination stages.
Prepare technical specifications, B.o.Qs, and quantity estimates for HVAC systems.
Participate in design reviews, technical discussions, and client meetings as required.
Support site teams during construction, testing, commissioning, and as-built documentation stages.
