Overall Purpose of The Job

The job role if for migration and building of new databases from manuals for vessels, which come into our management.

Key Responsibilities And Tasks

• Technical Planned Maintenance Builder with Equipment, Spare Parts, Maintenance, Scheduling and general upkeep of current vessel sites.
• Building of CMMS/PMS database for in-house application called Ship Sure as per Makers guidelines, Company policy and class regulation (at office & onsite).
• Carry out onsite database construction at, on board vessels and Shipyards.
• Sailing with vessels for CMMS/PMS database building, installation & Familiarization of Shipsure application to the Engineers and Officers on-board.
• Knowledge in MSSQL database queries.
• Involved in Database Migration and involved in resolving support task and queries from entire fleet vessels.

Essential

• Experience in building databases for various types of vessels like Tankers, Bulk Carrier, Container, LPG, Live Stock Carrier, Multi-Purpose vessel, Passenger Vessel, Heavy Lift Vessel, Anchor Handling, Oil Recovery Vessel/Fast Crew Boat, ROV Survey Vessels, and Diving Support Vessels Etc.
• A good knowledge of marine equipment’s and shipping terminology is necessary SQL Server knowledge is a must and should have experience on data migration

• Marine domain background is an added advantage
• Engineers with Marine background is an added qualification
• Good communication skills
