Job Description

Design Basis & Engineering Calculations -Prepare and maintain the Design Basis Report (DBR) and detailed design calculation reports for civil and structural works in line with project specifications, applicable codes, and contractual requirements.
Structural Analysis & Design- Perform structural analysis and design using approved software tools (e.g., STAAD, MIDAS, FEM tools), ensuring safe, optimized, and constructible design solutions.
Interdisciplinary Coordination & Clash Resolution-Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Site, Project, QA, E&M, Geotechnical teams) and perform interference / clash checks to ensure compatibility across disciplines and timely design sign-offs.
Design Support to CAD/BIM Teams-Provide clear and complete design inputs to CAD designers and BIM modelers, including geometry, loads, material specifications, hand sketches, general notes, and drawing references.
Quantity Control & Cost Alignment- Prepare and monitor Bills of Materials (BOM) and maintain civil quantities, ensuring alignment between tender estimates and post-order quantities.
Quality, Documentation & Risk Management- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, QMS, and DMS requirements, maintain drawing/document registers, and proactively identify, update, and escalate design risks and opportunities.
