Job Purpose

Responsible for leading a team of architects in preparing architectural design concept, scheme, detail design and construction details stages as per the scope of the project in compliance with statutory rules and regulations. Selection and finalization of specifications and materials and quantity estimation of the same. This includes co-ordination with multidisciplinary design teams, site team, consultants and vendors as applicable along with resolving inter disciplinary design issues. It also entails liaising with the clients / consultants and ensuring proper, timely and effective delivery of drawings and documents for construction. To ensure team integrity and in project workings.

& Educational Requirements

Desired knowledge and experience

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: (degree, training, or certification required)

• Bachelors in Engineering - B. Arch or Equivalent (Mandatory)
• Masters in Engineering - M. Arch or Equivalent (Preferred)
  
  

Relevant Experience

(no. of years of technical, functional, and/or leadership experience or specific exposure required)

8+ years of relevant work experience with a portfolio of Pan India or Global projects in architecture, designing and coordination of large public spaces infrastructure Projects like Airports (Preferred), Railway stations , Institutional / Hospitals etc.

Competencies Required

TECHNICAL /FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES

• Architect shall have a passion for innovation and have good presentation and convincing skills.
• Familiar with relevant codes and standards like NBC, NFPA, IATA, ICAO etc. Technical knowledge of the detail design engineering process.
• Construction Method Understanding
• Should be Proficient with the latest design software like BIM Arch, AutoCAD, Sketchup Pro
• Material Requirement & Specifications Management
• Quantity Survey Awareness
• Relevant Standards Knowledge
• Requisite Software Knowledge
