Key Responsibilities

Analyze existing .NET application architecture and define cloud migration strategies (re-host, re-platform, refactor).

Migrate applications to AWS, specifically leveraging ECS (Elastic Container Service) for containerized deployments.

Containerize .NET applications using Docker and implement CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.

Design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient cloud-native solutions.

Perform application modernization, including breaking monoliths into microservices (where applicable).

Configure and manage AWS services such as ECS, ECR, EC2, ALB, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch, and VPC.

Optimize application performance, availability, and cost post-migration.

Ensure security best practices (IAM roles, secrets management, network security).

Collaborate with DevOps, development, and infrastructure teams for seamless migration and deployment.

Troubleshoot migration issues and provide production support during transition phases.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Skills

Strong experience in .NET / .NET Core / ASP.NET Core application development.

Hands-on Experience With AWS Services, Especially

ECS (Fargate/EC2)

ECR (container registry)

EC2, S3, RDS, CloudWatch

Experience in containerization (Docker) and orchestration using ECS.

Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).

Familiarity with microservices architecture and REST APIs.

Experience in infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).

Strong understanding of networking concepts (VPC, subnets, load balancers).
