Front End Developer

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Frontend Developer to craft engaging and interactive user interfaces for web applications using modern frontend technologies. The ideal candidate will work closely with designers, backend developers, and stakeholders to deliver responsive, high-performance web applications that function seamlessly across devices and browsers.

Essential Functions

• Build and enhance intuitive user interfaces for web pages and applications.
• Convert UI/UX wireframes and design mockups into pixel-perfect, functional code.
• Optimize applications for speed, scalability, performance, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and product teams to integrate frontend components with server-side logic.
• Write clean, modular, reusable, and maintainable code following best practices.
• Perform testing and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables and accessibility compliance (e.g., WCAG standards).
• Implement animations, state management, and interactive user features.
• Integrate APIs and third-party services to enable dynamic content.
• Stay updated with emerging frontend tools, frameworks, and industry trends.
  
  

Requirements

Requirement:

• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3 (Flexbox, Grid, preprocessors like SASS), and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Hands-on experience with frontend frameworks such as React.js, Vue.js, Angular, or Next.js.
• Expertise in responsive and mobile-first design (Media Queries, Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS).
• Experience with Git version control and workflows such as GitFlow.
• Understanding of build tools (Webpack, Vite), package managers (npm, Yarn), and bundlers.
• Knowledge of performance optimisation techniques (lazy loading, code splitting, Lighthouse audits).
• Familiarity with TypeScript, Progressive Web Apps (PWAs), or WebAssembly is an added advantage.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in agile environments.
• 2+ years of professional experience with a portfolio of live projects preferred.
