The role

We are looking for an IT Support Engineer with at least one year of experience to provide day-to-day technical support to our team and maintain the company’s IT systems, hardware, software and network. You should be a confident troubleshooter who can resolve issues independently.

What you will do

• Provide first-level support for hardware, software and network issues
• Install, configure and maintain computers, laptops, printers, scanners and other equipment
• Troubleshoot operating system, application, hardware and connectivity problems
• Manage email accounts, user accounts, system access and permissions
• Support the LAN, Wi-Fi, routers and switches
• Handle software installation, updates, antivirus and routine system maintenance
• Run data backups and apply basic security and cybersecurity practices
• Manage the employee biometric attendance system: enrolment, access and troubleshooting
• Maintain records of IT assets, plus documentation, issue logs and service records
• Monitor equipment and flag anything needing preventive maintenance or replacement
• Coordinate with external IT vendors and service providers
• Support video conferencing, meeting rooms and other office IT needs

What you bring

• 1+ years in IT support, technical support or system support
• Good knowledge of Windows, MS Office, hardware and networking
• Working understanding of LAN, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routers and switches
• Hands-on troubleshooting of desktops, laptops, printers and peripherals
• Basic knowledge of cybersecurity, antivirus and backup practices
• Clear communication and a helpful approach to supporting colleagues
• Good documentation and problem-solving habits

Good to have

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics or a related field
• Experience in an engineering, manufacturing or technology company
• Basic Linux, server administration, cloud or virtualisation experience
