We are currently seeking you to build up and manage the operation and maintenance of a Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) and Mass Rapid Transport System (MRTS) business in Delhi, India. This 82km long Delhi-Meerut line will consist of 16 RRTS and 6 MRTS stations. This will include developing a local O&M company from scratch to full operations, developing and leading a passionate and performance driven team, steering quality, performance and customer satisfaction as well as ensuring economic success in India.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for the smooth functioning, traffic regulation & safe train movement of all trains running on their respective main line during his shift.
Perform each action based on latest SOPs and instructions, SOR / OR and all applicable manuals and rules.
Monitors supervise & controls Automatic Train Control System during normal, degraded and emergency scenarios.
Manages failures on the train and signalling system, regulate traffic using relevant procedures and resume normal operation as quickly as practicable.
Coordinates with maintenance teams (works, track work, power supply, overhead line etc.) and planning cell and monitors the execution of work accordingly.
Authorizing approved PTWs, implementation of Power block by imposing all safety measures.
Timely opening and closing of PTW's in AMS.
Coordinates with traction power controller and depot controller for all field works (permits to work granted by Chief controller) especially the ones that need power blocks & Train Movement.
Coordinates with fellow Traffic Controllers during inter corridor movements, OCC Controllers including Depot Controllers, Train Crew Controller, Train Operators & Station Controllers and maintenance staff while managing normal & abnormal scenarios.
Efficient Management of failures on the train and signalling system, regulate traffic. Minimum disruption to the traffic.
Select and implement timetable as per schedule in consultation with OCC Chief Controller.
Strictly follows operational procedures and rules.
Maintains the Traffic Controller logbook.
Responsible for elaborating reports, raising service requests and analysis on train running.
Maintains and develops his competency on the system.
Any other works assigned by Chief Controller / Assistance Chief Controller and Superiors.
To coordinate mock drills.
To provide on-the-job training to new recruits.
Any other tasks assigned by the superiors.
Qualification:
Technical Diploma / BE or B. Tech (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics).
Able to remain calm and proactive particularly during degraded and challenging situations.
Has competent and proven analytical ability.
Is able to diagnose technical malfunctions, interpret and apply solutions from written and verbal information.
Able to anticipate the impact during failures and incidents and react to situations.
Proactive in identifying and resolving issues.
Capable of giving precise, clear and concise instructions remotely.
Prompt in executing and applying instructions and procedures.
Able to relay oral and written information to both direct reports and superiors.
Has strong oral and written communication skills.
Able to elaborate technical reports.
Has technical understanding and experience.
Able to understand and identify risks involved in operation and has proper safety orientation.
