Role Overview

The MIS Executive will handle data management, analysis, and reporting for examination processes, ensuring accurate tracking of student results, schedules, and compliance using Excel, BI tools, and SQL in a dynamic academic setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage exam data including registrations, attendance, answer evaluations, and result generation using advanced Excel (Power Query, Power Pivot, Macros).
• Create reports and dashboards in Power BI or Tableau for metrics like pass/fail rates, subject performance, and exam logistics.
• Perform SQL queries for database maintenance, data extraction, and integrity checks on exam repositories.
• Analyze data trends to identify issues (e.g., grading discrepancies) and support process improvements like automated workflows.
• Coordinate with exam staff, faculty, and IT for timely data sharing, ad-hoc reports, and revaluation processes.
• Maintain documentation for exam procedures, audit logs, and compliance with academic standards.
• Ensure high accuracy and confidentiality in handling sensitive student data under tight deadlines.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills Required

• Bachelor's in IT/Computer Science or related field preferred.
• Advanced MS Excel proficiency (Power Query, Power Pivot, Macros) and data handling.
• Experience with BI tools (Power BI/Tableau) and basic SQL/database knowledge.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and accuracy.
• Effective communication and coordination skills.
• 2+ years in MIS/reporting
