Job Title	Engineer – Quality	Reporting To	Senior Manager
Location	Gangaikondan	Grade/ Level	SD

Job Objective

Responsible for implementing, monitoring, and improving the Quality Management System (QMS). The role ensures compliance with applicable standards, customer requirements, and statutory regulations to deliver defect-free products/projects and continuous improvement across operations.
Key Responsibilities

1)	Implement and maintain ISO 9001 and other applicable quality standards. Ensure compliance with company quality policies, procedures, and work instructions. Assist in preparing and updating quality manuals, SOPs, and formats. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across departments.
2)	Monitor incoming, in-process, and final inspections to ensure quality compliance. Ensure adherence to Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) and Quality Control Plans. Analyze inspection results and initiate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Ensure calibration of measuring and testing equipment.
3)	Plan and conduct internal quality audits and support external audits. Ensure timely closure of audit observations and non-conformities. Coordinate with certification bodies, customers, and third-party auditors. Ensure statutory and customer compliance at all times.
4)	Maintain quality records, inspection reports, and test certificates. Prepare periodic quality performance reports for management review. Track quality KPIs, rejection trends, and improvement actions.
SECTION VI: ROLE PROFILE REQUIREMENTS

Education	Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Industrial / Production / Quality Engineering) OR Diploma in Engineering with relevant and extensive experience in Quality Management
Experience	4–6 years of overall experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Control Minimum 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial role
