Associate

The Associate in the Production department will play a vital role in ensuring smooth operation of Varun Beverages packaging line. You will handle critical machines such as the blow molder, rinser, and shrink wrapper, maintain production schedules, uphold quality standards, and support continuous improvement initiatives within a fast‑paced FMCG environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor blow molder, rinser, and shrink wrapper machines
• Perform routine setup, changeovers, and adjustments to meet production schedules
• Conduct preventive maintenance and troubleshoot equipment breakdowns
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and hygiene standards
• Record production data, machine parameters, and maintenance logs
• Coordinate with material handling and quality teams for seamless workflow
• Identify and implement process improvement opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment
• Assist in inventory management of packaging consumables
• Participate in shift handovers and communicate status updates

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Technology, or related field
• 1-2 years of experience operating packaging machinery in FMCG or beverage industry
• Basic understanding of blow molding, rinsing, and shrink wrapping processes
• Ability to read technical drawings and machine manuals
• Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills
• Good knowledge of safety protocols and PPE usage
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office, ERP)
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Willingness to work in rotating shifts and overtime as needed
• High level of attendance and punctuality
