Internship Duration: 6 Months

Role Objective

To support the Operations Excellence team in driving productivity improvement, mechanization, automation, layout optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations. The intern will gain hands-on exposure to Industrial Engineering tools, Lean Manufacturing principles, and project execution while contributing to operational excellence projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Process Improvement & Industrial Engineering
• Assist in conducting time studies, work studies, and motion studies.
• Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvement opportunities.
• Support implementation of Lean Manufacturing tools and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Assist in identifying and eliminating Non-Value Added (NVA) activities.

• Support execution of mechanization and automation projects across operations.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors during project implementation.
• Assist in machine trials, validation, documentation, and performance tracking.

• Final Year or Pre-final Year B.E./B.Tech or pursuing Master's in:
• Industrial Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Production Engineering
• Manufacturing Engineering
• Textile Engineering
• Industrial & Production Engineering
  

• Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering concepts
• Knowledge of Time Study, Motion Study, Line Balancing, and Process Mapping
• AutoCAD (preferred)
• Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
• Power BI (preferred)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work in a cross-functional environment
