About the Role

As an Associate Product Manager – Car Loans , you will be responsible for supporting the growth and performance of the car loan business. This role involves driving

strategy, enhancing distribution, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver differentiated offerings. You will work closely with stakeholders across Product, Sales, Operations, IT, Credit, and BIU to ensure seamless customer experience, portfolio quality, and business scalability.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

  • Guide the car loan sales team to achieve volume scale-up in line with defined targets.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Marketing team to increase customer penetration through digital channels.
  • Build and nurture strategic partnerships with key dealers, OEMs, and channel/product partners to expand portfolio reach.
  • Monitor portfolio performance and quality and provide recommendations for course correction to Product and Sales teams.
  • Support the Product team in developing differentiated offerings to drive business growth.
  • Work with the Business Analytics team to identify cross-sell opportunities.
  • Track product P&L and identify growth opportunities.

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Recommend process automation to improve service efficiency.
  • Drive agile product development in collaboration with the Technology team.
  • Work closely with Risk and Collections teams to ensure product and portfolio compliance with applicable norms.

What We Are Looking For

Education

  • Graduation: Any discipline (preferred: B.Sc., B.Tech, BCA, B.Com, BBA)

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in product management, preferably in car loans or retail lending.

Skills and Attributes

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Understanding of car loan products, customer segments, and market dynamics.
  • Ability to collaborate across functions and manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience in digital product development and process automation.
  • High compliance orientation and attention to portfolio quality.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a focus on innovation and service excellence.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential.
