BOARDING HOUSE PARENT

Purpose of Role

To lead the academic and administrative functions of the school, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and effective learning environment. The Principal is accountable for student achievement, staff development, operational excellence, parental engagement, and community-building that aligns with the mission and vision of TIPS.

Therefore, we are consistent in identifying potential safeguarding and Health & Safety issues and acting and following up on all concerns appropriately.

• Responsibilities:** - Assist in the daily operations of the boarding house. - Ensure the safety and well-being of boarding students. - Organize and supervise boarding activities. - Maintain records and reports on student behavior and incidents. - Communicate with parents and guardians regarding student progress and concerns. **Skills:** - Strong interpersonal and communication skills. - Ability to manage and supervise groups of students. - Organizational and record-keeping abilities. **Requirements:** - High school diploma or equivalent. - Previous experience in a boarding or residential environment preferred. - First aid certification is a plus.
