About The Client

Our client is an Australian-based manufacturer and supplier specialising in air distribution solutions for the HVAC industry, serving both residential and commercial markets. They design, manufacture and stock a wide range of products such as diffusers, grilles, louvres, dampers, and related ventilation components. Operating with in-house manufacturing capabilities including sheet metal fabrication and powder coating.

What You Will Be Doing

Our client is seeking some skilled Sheet Metal Workers to join their team in Belmont in a long-term role. The successful applicant will be required to work Monday-Friday. This hands-on role suits someone who has experience working in Sheet Metal Fabrication environments.

In This Position You Will Be

• Manufacturing and assembling HVAC ductwork for commercial and/or residential applications
• Operating fabrication equipment such as air hammers and Pittsburgh drills
• Cutting and folding sheet metal (note: laser cutting is typically done by a senior operator, but opportunities may arise depending on workload)
• Assembling and knocking duct together to required specifications
• Ensuring all work is completed accurately, safely, and in line with client standards
• General workshop duties as required
  
  

Pay rates range from $35 - $45 per hour depending on your level of experience.

Shift Structure

• Monday Thursday; 6:00-2:30
• Friday; 6:00-12:00
  
  

What You Will Need

• Drivers Licence & reliable transport
• 612 months exposure to metal fabrication, workshop duties, or a similar trade
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks and operate safely in a workshop environment
• Strong attention to detail, willingness to learn, and good work ethic
