Position : Consultant Urologist

Role & responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments, including physical examinations, medical histories, and
  
  

diagnostic tests, to accurately diagnose urological conditions.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on the diagnosis, which may
  
  

include medications, surgery, minimally invasive procedures, or other therapeutic interventions.

• Provide compassionate and comprehensive care to patients with urological conditions.
• Monitor patients progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and address any concerns or
  
  

complications that arise during the course of treatment.

• Educate patients and their families about their condition, treatment options, and preventive
  
  

measures.

• Perform surgical procedures to treat urological disorders, such as prostatectomy, nephrectomy,
  
  

cystectomy, and transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP).

• Ensure that surgical techniques adhere to best practices and prioritize patient safety and well-
  
  

being.

• Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including urology nurses, radiologists,
  
  

oncologists, and primary care physicians, to coordinate care for patients.

• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss complex cases and develop
  
  

comprehensive treatment plans.

• Provide education and training to medical students, residents, and fellows rotating through the
  
  

urology department. Supervise and mentor junior staff members, offering guidance and support

in clinical decision making and professional development.

• Research and Scholarly Activities: Contribute to the advancement of knowledge in the field of
  
  

urology through participation in research projects, clinical trials, and scholarly publications.

• Stay abreast of recent developments, emerging technologies, and evidence-based practices in
  
  

urology.

Preferred Candidate Profile-

• MBBS., MS., M.Ch., (Urology) / DNB (Urology).
• Experience 2 year & above

Salary:

• ₹30Lakhs - ₹45Lakhs Per Annum (Negotiable as per the candidates requirement
• Prostatectomy: Removal of the prostate gland, often for prostate cancer.
• Cystectomy: Removal of the bladder, often due to cancer.
• Nephrectomy: Removal of a kidney, often due to cancer or severe damage.
• Vasectomy: A surgical procedure for male sterilization by cutting and sealing the vas
  
  

deferens.

• Lithotripsy: Using sound waves to break kidney stones into smaller pieces for easier
  
  

removal.
