Job Purpose

• Working experience of heavy fabrication process.
• Plan & execute manufacturing impact for Current product changes/upgradation & New product, planning in terms of tooling / processes / shop layout /capacity utilization for construction equipment like Excavators, loader backhoe, Skid steer loader & Compactors
• Process/Tool planning & budgeting for the new/Current product
• Established tooling for Fabrication like welding fixture, Jigs, machining fixtures, good command on tool design with ability to guide tool design team.
• Process study, process validation and PFMEA for fabrication.
• Design of weld sequence and its proving and finally release thru SOP’s, Good knowledge of Engineering standard, Prototype development
• Preparation of RFQ’s for new equipment, specification finalization, installation
• Hydraulic system design, hydraulic schematic and selection of hydraulic components.
• Establish MIG structure welding standard for WPQ/PQR/WPS & for critical welding joint configurations for manual & robot welding.
• Prepare plan of Mfg strategy & project plans for new product & support MFG launch activities.
• Project management.
