We are seeking a seasoned professional to provide strategic advisory and execution support for credit card portfolio optimization initiatives. This role focuses on driving growth across key KPIs such as ENR, spend, authorization, activation, utilization, and balance build. The successful candidate will leverage data analytics, merchant partnerships, and lifecycle management tools to enhance customer engagement, maximize portfolio performance, and deliver sustainable business growth.

Responsibilities

• Analyze portfolio trends and design strategies to improve activation, usage, and retention.
• Develop and implement initiatives to grow the credit card portfolio in line with business targets.
• Lead end-to-end campaign management across channels to drive customer engagement, spend, and balance build.
• Support the design and execution of credit card installment plans, including payment structures, sales strategies, and revenue optimization.
• Create and manage lifecycle campaigns and customer engagement programs, ensuring effective communication and measurable impact.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure seamless execution of campaigns and offers.
• Optimize portfolio performance through segmentation, targeting, and personalized offers.
• Provide execution support for campaign rollout, tracking, and performance reporting.
• Align campaign objectives and KPIs with business goals, ensuring compliance with internal approvals and regulatory requirements.
• Manage the financial performance of the credit card portfolio, including forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
• Drive improvements in key KPIs:
• Plastic activation rate, spend activation rate, spend per card
• Card utilization, ENR per card, installment sales
• Credit limit management (increases/decreases)
• Customer engagement and activation metrics
• Develop new merchant and partnership opportunities to enhance cardholder value.
• Ensure timely execution of planned initiatives to achieve portfolio growth and retention targets.

Requirements

• Mandatory expertise in:
• Cards cross-border payments, e-commerce, and merchant partnerships
• Campaign execution, customer segmentation, and performance analytics
• 8–10 years of experience in banking, payments, or consulting, with a strong focus on credit card portfolio optimization, digital engagement, and product management (regional experience preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Cards P&L, revenue drivers, loyalty programs, and campaign management.
• Fluent in English; Arabic fluency preferred.
• Proven track record of client interaction, relationship building, and stakeholder management.
• Advanced proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; knowledge of project management tools is a plus.
• Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
