If the student works one semester, the performance evaluation will be completed after that semester. Description: The Student Experience Co-op will contribute to the Mount’s efforts to attract, engage, and retain engagement through the use of social media, events, and experiences. The co-op will maintain a master calendar of all MSJ events, run the student life Instagram page, and identify opportunities for MSJ students to participate in. This position requires regular consultation with members of the University Communications team and frequent work with other members of the campus community and third-party vendors. Responsibilities: Produce and publish from the Monthly Student Experience Calendar Maintain and update general use bulletin boards across campus Review and approve all events on Mount SOAR Admin Panel Book spaces for all events for Student Organizations Validate posters / flyers for all student organizations Create and maintain the Student Life Instagram through weekly content posting Assist with creation and updates on print materials for the Office of Student Experiences Support the execution of Student Experience initiatives and events throughout the academic year Attend and work university sponsored events as a representative of MSJ Build and publish content for the Student Success Hallway rotating televisions Basic Minimum Qualifications: Must be a current full-time enrolled student at Mount St. Joseph University Must have successfully completed, or currently taking, CED 220 Must be in good social and academic standing Preferred Qualifications: Must have an interest in marketing, social media, and content curation. Must have a sincere curiosity about how constituents (students, alumni, parents, prospective students) experience the MSJ brand both in-person and online. Must have strong written and interpersonal communication skills. Should be proficient in Microsoft Suite, Canva, and MSJ Systems such as, but not limited to, ROAR App, SOAR Admin Panel, and Mount Connect. Should have strong organizational skills and pay close attention to detail.
