Position Overview

Dhir & Dhir Associates is excited to announce openings for passionate and experienced legal professionals in their Banking & Finance practice. The firm is looking to expand its team in New Delhi and Mumbai across various levels, including:

• Associate
• Senior Associate
• Principal Associate

Key Responsibilities

• Independently engage with clients and transaction stakeholders to provide expert legal advice.
• Draft and negotiate complex transaction documents, ensuring a thorough understanding of the intricacies involved.
• Handle finance transactions, including term loans and working capital loans for Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), financial institutions, and banks.
• Provide solution-oriented advice that aligns with current laws and market standards.
• Stay updated with the latest regulatory norms, judgments, and legal developments in the banking and finance sector.
• Conduct thorough corporate and project due diligence to ensure compliance with legal and financial standards.
• Offer expert opinions on the enforceability of financing documents and manage pre-commitment/pre-disbursement conditions.
• Advise clients on stamp duty-related matters, ensuring all transactions comply with legal requirements.
• Coordinate seamlessly with foreign legal counsel in cross-border transactions to ensure smooth execution.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, delivering high levels of client satisfaction.
  
  

Qualifications And Experience

• Post-Qualification Experience (PQE): 2-10 years in the relevant field.
• Strong legal knowledge in banking and finance, with a proven track record of handling complex transactions.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
